Obituary

Catherine A. (Deveau) Wilson, age 85 of Brockton, died Tuesday June 10, 2014 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Wilson. Born and raised in Quincy, she moved to Brockton in 1967.

Catherine had worked for Formica in Quincy for many years and also at Cherry & Webb and Montgomery Elevator in Braintree. She loved to read and compose poetry, and raising her dachshunds. She was a parishioner at Saint Edith Stein Church and will be remembered as a great neighbor and friend.

Catherine was one of nine children and leaves a brother Charles Deveau of Quincy and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dear friends; Leah Dingwell and her family, and Mary Rice.

A graveside service will be held in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham on Tuesday June 17 at 12:30 pm.
