Cecil G. Jackson, 84, of Brockton, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Baypointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. He was the husband of Thelma B. (Taylor) Jackson. Born on August 30, 1935, in Jamaica, Cecil was the son of the late Jeremiah Jackson and Leahdorah (Palmer) Jackson. He worked as a security guard for U.S. Security Associates. In addition to his wife, Thelma, Cecil is survived by his son, Errol Nelson; his step children, Garey Lee, Kevin Lee, Andrew Tulloch, Okeelia Tulloch and Jacquelyn Godbolt; his siblings, Laura Parke, Eulalee Jackson-Harris and Glenford Jackson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, January 18th from 8:30-9:30AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 9:30AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
