Obituary

Charlene A. (Hamm) Hall age 54, of Taunton died unexpectedly Friday May 17, 2013. She was born in Brockton, a daughter of Barbara A. (Dolan) Hamm of Brockton and the late Edgar W. Hamm, Sr. and had lived in Taunton for over 25 years.

A 1977 graduate of Brockton High School, Charlene was a stay at home mom devoted to her family. She enjoyed music, dance, writing poetry and was an artist in different mediums. She loved children and had the gift of making everyone she met feel special.

Charlene was the loving mother of Shane M. Hall of Taunton, Justin Hall of Brockton and Crystal Dexter and her husband Ian of Taunton and grandmother of Mitchell and Nadine Vargas of Holton, Maine. She was the sister of Teresa Hamm of Dartmouth, John Hamm and his wife Dorothy of Brockton, Edgar Hamm and his fiancée Tina Gurn of Brockton, Victoria Salamone and her husband Greg of So. Easton, Shannon Salamone of Fall River, and the late Katherine and Bernard “Danny” Hamm. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.


A Funeral Mass will be held in Christ the King Church on Tuesday June 4 at 9 am. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Charlene’s name to the Caring for Crystal Fund, 90 Knott Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
