Charles M. "Chuck" Petti
, 55, of Brockton, died Wednesday afternoon, August 8, 2007 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Born January 21, 1952 in Brockton, he was the son of Marilyn L. (Fuller) Petti of Brockton and the late Celestino M. Petti, Jr. A lifelong Brockton resident Chuck graduated from Brockton High School Class of 1971. He then served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Cormen during the Vietnam Era.
Chuck was a Hairstylist in the City of Brockton for several years and also enjoyed providing homecare to people in need. He enjoyed painting and was an avid reader, he spoke several languages. Chuck was well known throughout the City of Brockton for helping others in need.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn L. (Fuller) Petti of Brockton; his brothers and sisters, Charlyn M. (Petti) Veracka and her husband David of Bridgewater, Scott A. Petti of Brockton, Anthony J. Petti of Brockton, Lance J. Petti of Avon, Joy S. (Petti) Piesco and her husband Thomas of Taunton, Brockton City Councilor Todd G. Petti and his wife Kathy of Brockton, Gina F. (Petti) Moore and her husband Neil of CA, Shelly G. (Petti) Nadeau and her husband Marcel of Rehobeth, Tory M. Petti of Brockton, Matthew D. Petti and his wife Kathy of Brockton, and Attorney Mark D. Petti of Brockton; his dear friend, Christa Cody of Brockton; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, Aug, 11th at 9:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Private cremation will follow. Calling hours Friday 4:00-8:00PM.
