Obituary

Charles R. Pickett, 67 years of Brockton died Saturday August 9, 2008 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. He was born in Brockton, a son of the late Agnes E. (Souza) and Charles M. Pickett. He had been a resident of Brockton for most of his life and attended Avon Schools. During Vietnam, he served in the Coast Guard and the Marines. He was employed for many years by Rextrude Company as a foreman. Mr. Pickett enjoyed collecting caps, country music, Patriots and the Red Sox.

He is survived by a daughter, a Monica Pickett of S. Weymouth, two grandchildren, Zahkya and Jaidyn, his mother Agnes E. (Souza) Pickett and a brother Robert Pickett of Plymouth.


Memorial Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte123) Brockton Tuesday Aug. 19, at 12noon.
