Charlotte Ann Lopez Charlotte Ann Lopez , 69, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010. Charlotte Ann Lopez was born October 24, 1940 in Cambridge, MA to her parents the late Louis Lopes and Josephine E (Wallace) Lopes. She was the oldest of her 11 siblings. Charlotte completed her schooling in Cambridge, MA and worked as a PCA Worker for several years and a Lunch Monitor in the Boston Public School system. Charlotte was a loving person, she was know for being the "Life of The Party" and everyone always enjoyed being in her presence. Her ability to love people unconditionally and not pass judgment on them made her an extraordinary person. Charlotte served as a confidant to many people and always made you smile or laugh. She was known as a pillar in her neighborhood and was always willing to give someone a helping hand. She was like a "Mother Theresa" to those that knew her. Charlotte spent the majority of her life in Cambridge and Boston, MA. However she moved to Rock Hill, SC in 2007. It was in Rock Hill, SC where she met her loving companion, Henry Robinson. Although Charlotte is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who knew and loved her. Charlotte is survived by her children, Reginia Barros-Jones and her husband Edward of Rock Hill, SC, Stacey Lopes, Kimberly Lopes of Boston; her six grandchildren, Janean Barros of Fort Mill, SC, Jada Lopes, Jonathan Lopes, Rickey Simmons, Torie Tatum of Boston and James Brown of Tennessee; her three great grandchildren, Essence and Roderick Barrows of Fort Mill, SC, and Gianna Lopes of Boston; She is also survived by her 10 siblings, Butchie Lopes and his wife Arlene of Brockton, Caesar Lopes of Haverhill, Doreen Lopes, Vincent Lopes of Boston, Peter Lopes of Atlanta, GA, Josephine Lopes of Fall River, Jeanette Ross and her husband Leroy of Boston, Michael Lopes and his wife Rose of Brockton, Ann Marie Lopes, and Theresa Lopes of Boston. She is preceded in death by her Father Louis Lopes, her Mother Josephine E Lopes, and her brother David Lopes. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, March 20th from 11:00AM-1:00PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00PM in the funeral home. Private cremation will follow.
