Obituary

Chelsea L. Hopkins, age 28, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 16, 2021.

Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of Christie L. (Hopkins) Vendetti, and her wife, Doreen Vendetti of Rhode Island, and Marcus A. Bullard of Brockton.

She was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 2010 and attended UMass Dartmouth. During her high school and college years, she participated on the Dive team. An outgoing and caring person, she was the “life of the party” and loved the beach, lady bugs, sunflowers, and mermaids. Her daughter was the center of her world.

Chelsea worked as a materials manager at Commonwealth Alternative Care in Taunton.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Emilia Geherty, and her father, Shon Geherty; three siblings, Nick Bullard of Easton, Marcus Bullard, of Brockton, and Joshua Hopkins, of Easton; her paternal grandparents, Dewey and Pearl Bullard, of Brockton; maternal grandparents, Cherie Depina and the late Tony Depina, of Boston; uncles, Tony DePina, III, of Boston, Wayne Curvin, Jr., of Palm Harbor, FL; a great great aunt, Linda Taupier, of East Longmeadow; and several extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton, with a Celebration of Life, beginning at 2:00 pm, in the funeral home. Interment will be privately held.
