IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl A.
Carlson
January 14, 1945 – September 21, 2022
Cheryl Anne Carlson, 77, of East Bridgewater, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday September 21, leaving behind no regrets.
Born in Brockton, having grown up in Whitman and Brockton, she's being met in heaven by her parents, Clarence (Mike) and Jackie Carlson, her brothers Nelson and Eric, her one and only cousin Gary, and many other loved ones who preceded her in death.
Cheryl was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her children, Peter Lounge Jr and his wife Geri, Denise Goldsberry and her husband Joe, and Christina Robertson.
Gramma was so incredibly proud of her girlie girls; her four beautiful granddaughters; Katie McWilliams, Kendra O'Connor, Kylie McWilliams, and Esmeralda McWilliams. If you knew Cheryl, you heard about her girlie girls, as she called them. How blessed she was to know and love her five great grandchildren; Landon, Maddie, Jaxstyn, Jurnee, and Meadow.
The siblings Cheryl leaves behind are to be counted amongst her very best of friends; Karl Carlson and his wife Dianne, Kirra Kotsiopoulos and her husband Charles, and Michael Carlson and his wife Lynn. She loved and bragged about her many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl found much happiness later in life with her companion Brian Crandall. Whether it was a drive on back roads or sharing a meal at a local restaurant, they truly enjoyed their many years together.
Cheryl was happily retired after a long and satisfying career as Director of Assessing in East Bridgewater. If you paid taxes in East Bridgewater, you probably knew Cheryl. She also proudly served as President of the Assessor Association of Plymouth County.
Cheryl loved good music, with Elton John and Willie Nelson among her favorites, good food, and good times with family and friends. She was a firm believer in being kind to others and paying it forward.
In lieu of flowers, Cheryl would love knowing a donation was made to The Barbara McInnis House, Boston, in her name.
