Cheryl Anne Tartaglia, 61 of Bridgewater passed away peacefully at her home on October 23, 2023 after a brief illness.

She is survived by her mother, Madeline (Nelson) Tartaglia, and the late Frank (Sonny) Tartaglia.

Cheryl was born on July 29, 1962 and graduated from Brockton High School in 1980. She attended Salem State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). After graduating, Cheryl moved back to Brockton where she started her nursing career at Westwood Lodge. She then earned her Master's degree and worked as a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and Supervisor at Harvard Pilgrim for over 20 years.

Cheryl's love for the Grateful Dead and 70's music will never be forgotten. She had a passion for reading and a love of learning. She enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and her annual visits to Cape Cod to celebrate her birthday with her family. Family and friends meant everything to Cheryl. She treated her niece and nephews as her own. She was a beloved supervisor by her colleagues, many becoming her lifelong friends.

She is also survived by her sisters Jill (Tartaglia) Naujalis and her husband Warren Naujalis, Lynne (Tartaglia) Ricciotti and her husband Robert Ricciotti; godson Rocco Ricciotti; niece Gina-Marie Ricciotti; nephew Nicholas Naujalis; beloved cousin Susan Tartaglia; godfather Wayne Tartaglia; uncle Richard Tartaglia and his wife Dorothy and their son Richard Tartaglia, Jr.

Visitation will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street West Bridgewater on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Her mass of Christian burial will be from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 103 Center Street Bridgewater on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment immediately following her mass at Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 Main Street West Bridgewater, MA.
