Christian E. Vines, 17, of Randolph passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Brockton.
Christian Ernest Vines was born on August 30, 2002 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts to parents Annette Vines and Robert L Vines (deceased). He was a resident of Randolph, Massachusetts.
Christian was a very tall young man who always greeted people with his warm, infectious smile. He played basketball at Avon Middle High School, was a member of the Mass Attack AAU basketball team, and played Pop Warner Football when he was younger. Christian was a very kindhearted person who was very respectful to everyone he came across. His mother constantly heard people say how they would have such positive interactions with him whenever they saw him and how polite he was. He was very popular with his friends and cousins and enjoyed spending time with them.
Christian used to make delicious egg omelets and would come inside from hanging with his friends to make an omelet and head back outside. Christian's favorite saying was "Say no more!" His mom would ask him to take out the trash and he would say "Say no more", or even if you asked him to stop by to play video games, his answer was "Say no more!"
Christian was very close to his older sibling, Nikyla Renee, and they spent a lot of time laughing and hanging out together. In 2010, Christian and Nikyla lost their father to a lengthy illness. The Lord has now called Christian home to be with his dad. Although it is difficult now for his mother and sister. they rest in the comfort that they will be reunited with him again one day, and that he is now at peace as the world cannot harm him. He is in the arms of the Lord God Almighty.
Christian leaves to celebrate his life and legacy, his loving mother, Annette Vines; sister, Nikyla Renee Vines; grandmothers: Sue Campbell, and Mary Cuffee Vines; Great Grandmother, Margie Griffin; grandfather William E. Fisher, and host of other close family and friends.
