Online Obituaries Christina (Chrones) Capernaros, 75, of Sharon, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Norwood Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of Philip D. Capernaros. Born September 9, 1937 in Brookline, MA she was a daughter of the late George Chrones and Sophia (Paicopoulos) Chrones. Christina was raised in Brighton and Allston. She was a graduate of Brighton High School and later received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master's degree from Boston University. Christina worked for the Boston public schools as a teacher and administrator for 39 years. She was a talented artist and a gourmet cook. She also enjoyed traveling and skiing. She is survived by her husband, Philip D. Capernaros of Sharon; her two children, Philip and Peter Capernaros and her sister Catherine Zevitas of Belmont, MA.
