Christopher Henry Hopgood, 56, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at his home in Brockton. Born December 24, 1961 in Dorchester he was the son of the late Henry and Virginia (Rowen) Hopgood. Christopher was a very outgoing person, loved people and socializing. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He is survived by his son, Henry Hopgood; siblings, Joseph Hopgood and wife Lorraine, Kathleen Gaudreau and husband Robert, Virginia Margeson and husband John, Elizabeth Swain and Jeanne Katz and partner Ronald MacDonald; many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Kevin Hopgood. A funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul on Monday, November 26th at 10:00AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 210 Central St., East Bridgewater, MA. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, 319 High St., Canton, MA. Calling hours Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the funeral home.
