Online Obituaries Christopher P. Johnson, 51, of West Bridgewater and formerly of Miami and Brockton, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017. Born April 3, 1966 in Norwood, he was the beloved son of Donald R. Johnson and Cynthia A. (Tracy) Johnson of West Bridgewater. Raised in Brockton, he attended Brockton School and graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Framingham State College. Chris was a Deputy Sheriff for the Metro Dade Sheriffs Office for 16 years. Chris was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. He most enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Donald R. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Dianne of Whitman and Timothy P. Johnson and his wife Myrene of Bridgewater; his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Nicole, Meghan, Timothy, Jr., Madeline, Zachary and Benjamin; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Information Following cremation, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater on Saturday, Sept. 9th at 10:00AM.
