Christopher E. Kelly, of South Boston, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at home. He was 34 years old.
Born November 13, 1990 in Boston, Chris grew up in the Bridgewater's and walked to the beat of his own drum with a quick wit and a sharp intellect.
In his younger years, he excelled at karate and skateboarding. He was also a big fan of snowboarding, shredding up the New England mountains. He studied engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology and nanotechnology at the University of Albany, NY and shared his knowledge through tutoring while attending Ben Franklin Institute in Boston where he earned an Associates Degree.
Chris had a unique knack for amassing a large collection of shirts, ties and jackets. He was also an avid fan of computer games and programming. He excelled at drawing and art. Over the years he developed a flare and a love for cooking, creating numerous signature dishes always topped off with some hot sauce.
Chris is survived by his father, Frank Kelly and stepmom Sidney Kelly of Pembroke, MA and by his Mother Tracy Kelly Conner and stepdad Jeff Conner of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his sister Jessica Kelly and two nieces Maeve and Penelope Pitts of Swansea, MA, and his stepsisters Devon Roberts of Buffalo, NY and Skyler Roberts of Hanover, MA, his uncle Edward Kelly and wife Kathy of Lockhart, TX, his uncle Michael Kelly of Raynham, MA, his Aunt Kathy Carlson and husband Doug of Foxboro, MA, his Aunt Linda Miksch and husband Michael of Plympton, MA, his Aunt Diane Paul and husband Erik of Sutton, MA and his Grandparents Don and Mary Seager of Bridgewater, NH. He is also survived by numerous cousins.
Chris is predeceased by his Aunt Karen Stoddard.
Visiting hours will be from 10:00AM – 12:00PM Saturday, May 17th followed immediately by a service at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street, West Bridgewater.
