Obituary

Christopher L. Libby, age 60, of Brockton died unexpectedly at his home on December 24, 2022. Chris was born, raised and educated in Brockton, a son of the late Eugene A. and Virginia (Maraglia) Libby.

Chris was a laborer in the construction industry and worked at the Cape Cod Café years ago. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, baseball and wrestling.

A quiet, private person with a big heart, Chris was devoted to his mother and loved his family.

Chris was the father of Jonathan McIrvin of Texas and Mary Pina of Plymouth. He was the brother of Gregory Libby of Brockton, Deborah Washburn of Brockton, Michael Libby of Brockton, Donna Libby of Fall River, Veronica Libby of Brockton, Victoria Ortiz of Brockton, Roberta Steele of Brockton and the late Janit Moran, Stephen Libby, Denise Mitchell and Donald Libby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
