LANG, Cindy Jeanne, age 60, of Brockton MA passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 Cindy was born September 27, 1960, in Kittery, ME to Alan and Barbara Jo Lang. As a child, Cindy spent much time with her Nana and Papa Washburne. As a child, she lived in Dover, NH and Hingham, MA before settling in Hull, MA. As an adult, she resided in Weymouth and Brockton, MA. Cindy graduated from Hull High School, Hull, MA in 1979. She continued her education at Westfield State College where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Although she never became a teacher, her degree enabled her to have a successful career in the insurance industry. The last eight years, Cindy worked for Granite Telecommunications where she met many dear friends. Her love of animals was inspiring. Tigga and Rescue Kitty entertained her on a daily basis. Her beloved dog, Cali, will be with her forever. Cindy was an avid Patriots fan, and she enjoyed attending games. She was very proud of her participation in the "Shave to Save" program that donated money to the Boston Children's Hospital. Her love of Disney shined through in her many comical FaceBook posts. She loved spending time with the Bunko Babes and the Westie Crew. Reading, going to concerts, dancing and hosting cookouts with her friends brought her much joy. Her friends and family define her as vibrant, a bright spot in their day, someone who makes you laugh, a badass, supportive, thoughtful, caring and the most real person they know. Cindy was predeceased by her mother, Babara Jo Lang, her grandparents, William and Winifred Washburne and her uncle, Charles Blinn. She is survived by her Uncles and Aunts, Corky (William) and Judie Washburne of Acton, ME, Penny and Kenny Knudsen of Rockland, MA, and Mary Blinn of Pierre Part, LA, as well as several cousins and many wonderful friends.
