Claire Elizabeth (Strangis)(Packard) Rivera, 76, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Life Care Center of Raynham. She was the wife of the late William G. Packard, Sr.

Born June 10, 1948 in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late George Strangis and Helen (Raymond) Strangis. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School in 1966.

Claire drove a school bus and was also a Visiting Nurse Assistant at the Brockton VA Medical Center for numerous years.

She enjoyed dining out, going to the casino, playing keno, attending concerts and doing crafts.

She is survived by her children; Tina Clark, Darlene Packard and Billy Packard; her grandchildren, Tiffany Clark, Amanda Clark, Stefanie Clark, Robert Kilday, Katie Kilday and Matthew Kilday; her great-grandchildren, Cameron Feliciano, Ava Rittenhouse, Ariana Rivera and Mason Johnson; her sisters, Marilyn Cappiello and Christine Satcher; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard Strangis.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, November 16th from 1:00PM-2:30PM followed by a funeral service at 2:30PM. Interment will be private.
