Obituary

Clifford A. Wilmot, Jr. 82, was born January 20, 1938, and passed away on February 15, 2020. Following a very brief illness, he passed peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is survived by his beloved wife Judith A. (Guarino) Wilmot of 42 years. Cliff was a lifetime resident of West Bridgewater Ma. Cliff was the son of the late Clifford A. Wilmot, Sr. and Dorothy (Baker) Wilmot, also of West Bridgewater. Cliff was predeceased by his only sibling the late Robert Wilmot of West Bridgewater. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grand nephews. Shortly after graduating from West Bridgewater HS in 1956, Cliff joined the U.S Army and served until 1963. Following his time in the service Cliff pursued a career in the shoe industry until his retirement in 1996. Cliff was a lifelong and passionate sports fan closely following the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Cliff was also a dedicated Little League Coach for over 45 years coaching in both East and West Bridgewater. Finally, along with Judy, Cliff was a longtime candlepin bowler in the local area and enjoyed many nights and weekends spending time with his friends and fellow bowlers. All services are private.
