Jr. and Mary E. Savage. He was lovingly attached to his late uncle Richard Ingargiola, his aunt Geri (Ingargiola) and uncle Fred Cook. He is survived paternally by his aunt and uncles: Mary (Savage) Norton, Mark and Julie Savage, Andrew and Sandy Savage, Hugo Savage and Matthew and Svetlana Savage.
Colin was a Christian. He is deeply loved and forever missed by his brother Tom and his mom and dad. Although it is impossible to describe our dear Colin in just a few words, we offer the following in his honor.
Colin enjoyed exploration and travel, rustic camping and photographing his adventures. He loved sharing his photography with others. Colin was a professional photographer and painter, specializing in historical color and fine finishes; restoring many homes in the Boston area.
Colin's work is accentuated by his participation in the restoration of the historic Bradley Estate in Canton, Massachusetts; by the Junior League of Boston showcase. Colin was a furniture artist, creating unusual and complex fine finishes. Colin grew up loving music and played the trumpet, drums, piano and guitar. Colin was committed in his career and knew everything about paint and color.
Many people depended on Colin for his knowledge; and he was known to have a great eye for design and detail. He was a loyal friend and doted on his and his family's pets Snickers, Creasy and Louise.
Colin loved historic New England but, he looked forward to building a cabin in the mountains of West Virginia; his favorite state and vacation area. Colin loved kayaking, discovering abandoned buildings, off-road exploring adventures with his family. He missed his old dog Snickers. Colin was deeply connected to his family (and they to him), who adore him. Although Colin had a great sense of humor, he was unusually wise and could read people instantly. Colin was so much more than this; and will forever leave an empty space in our lives and our hearts.
