Online Obituaries Constance "Connie" (Alafogiannis) Kalivas, 98, of Brockton, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Stauros Kalivas. Born February 4, 1914 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Apostolos Alafogiannis and Stamatia (Belezos) Alafogiannis. Mrs. Kalivas was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos in Brockton and enjoyed reading, crosswords, knitting and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Yiotopoulos and her husband George; her grandchildren, Steven Yiotopoulos and Barbara Mantalos and her husband James; her great-grandchildren, Victoria Mantalos and Elizabeth Mantalos; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Georgia Nichols, Helen Silipo and Harry Alphonse. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Friday, May 4th at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM.
