Getchell of W. Bridgewater, June 3, 2002, Corinne (Snell) Getchell, 77 years. Former wife of the late Melvin L. Getchell. Mother of Janice Bendell of Brockton and Judith Casiello of Abington. Grandmother of Sam Casiello, Corinne Casiello and Christopher Coute. She also leaves two close friends Betty and Willy Freitas.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass In St. Ann's Church at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm.

Corinne (Snell) Getchell, 77 years, of West Bridgewater died Monday at the Brockton Hospital after a long period of failing health.

Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Joseph Snell and Margaret (Sheeley) Snell. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1943. She was formerly employed at Dartmouth Shoe Company and retired from the Foxboro Company in East Bridgewater in 1968.

She enjoyed reading, listening to Irish music and time spent with her grandchildren and her pets.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Bendell of Brockton and Judith Casiello of Abington. Three grandchildren Sam Casiello of Abington, Corinne Casiello of North Attleboro and Christopher Coute of Agawam. She also leaves two close friends Betty and Willy Freitas of West Bridgewater. She was the sister of the late John “Billy” Snell and Patricia Snell.
