March 18, 1964 – June 20, 2025
Craig Johnson was born on March 18,1964, the youngest of six children of Lila (Rego) Johnson, the daughter of Lillian (Rego) Cardoza. Craig's father was Harold "Bo" Marrow, Jr. Craig was born in and lived his whole life in Brockton, Massachusetts where he attended Brockton Public Schools.
Tall and lanky, Craig was a gifted athlete and played a variety of sports. His main interest was baseball where he played American Legion baseball for the Spartan Athletic Club and in the men's softball leagues. He played pitcher and outfield. He also played hockey and basketball. An avid overall sports fan, his favorite teams were the Bruins and the Red Sox.
Gregarious and sociable, many people were drawn to Craig's outgoing personality and good nature. He socialized at the local bars and clubs where he played darts and loved to sing and dance. He was also a skilled harmonica player. Craig was very generous with his time and could always be counted on to help anyone who asked.
Craig worked mainly in the field of construction. He held jobs in HVAC and carpentry around the Brockton area.
Craig is survived by his siblings, William Rego, Gable Johnson, Lynn Johnson, Dana Johnson, Marcella Barrière and eight nieces and nephews. He is also survived by uncles, Walter Shanks, Richard Shanks, Dennis Shanks, aunt, Sally Holland, and fifteen first cousins. He is predeceased by his sister Stephanie Johnson and aunt Roberta Brown. Craig was especially close to his cousin Torrie Schleper.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10 o'clock am to 1 o'clock pm at Russell and Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton, followed by a repast from 1:30 to 6 pm at the Enterprise Club, 224 Clinton Street, Brockton.
