IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia J. (Florio)
Ditusa
March 4, 1952 – May 19, 2025
Cynthia Ditusa, 73, of Attleboro, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, May 19, 2025.
Born on March 4, 1952, in Brockton, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mario J. Florio and Averil (Hamlin) Florio. She graduated from Brockton High School with the Class of 1970.
Cindy had a love for life and a contagious laugh that could light up any room. She cherished time spent with family and friends. With her warm and charismatic personality, she brought joy and laughter into the lives of the three families for whom she lovingly cared as a nanny. Her days were filled with silliness, sunshine, and a carefree spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She enjoyed country line dancing, couples dancing with her husband, horseback riding, and shopping for unique gifts to surprise her family and friends. Whether at a gathering or on a quiet outing, she found happiness in making others smile.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Ditusa of Attleboro; her mother, Averil Florio; her daughters, Michele Falconeiri and her husband Peter of Rochester, Melissa Rocha and her husband Kevin of Attleboro; and her step-children, Jason Ditusa and wife Monique of Johnston R.I., and Kimberly Ditusa of North Providence R.I. She was the cherished grandmother of Logan, Mason, and Samantha Rocha. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy Holick and her husband Timothy of Raynham and Debi Florio of Raynham. She was the beloved aunt of Julie Carpenter and Gina Holick.
We are deeply grateful to the hospital nurses and staff at Continuum Hospice for their care and support.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31st: visitation from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by service at 12:00 PM at Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt 123), Brockton.
