Obituary

Cynthia A. (Lincoln) Goncalves age 48 of Brockton died Sunday Sept. 11, 2011 peacefully in her sleep at her home after a lengthy illness. Cindy was born and resided in Brockton a beloved daughter of Charles B. Lincoln of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton and Polly A. (Phillips) Lincoln of Crockett, Texas. A 1981 graduate of Brockton High School, Cindy was a resident of Brockton for most of her life.
Cindy was a certified nursing assistant who had once worked at the former Goddard Hospital, the Guardian Center and private homes. She enjoyed photography and making collages, horseback riding and as a lover of animals rescued several cats.
Cindy was a devoted and loving mother of Krystle Goncalves of E. Providence, RI and Charles Goncalves of Brockton and devoted grandmother of Tatianna Williams. She was the loving sister of Debra Murphy and her husband Brian of Hull, Brad Lincoln and his wife Meredith, of Carver and the late Lisa (Lincoln) Nelms. She also leaves her stepmother Marcy (Cataldo) Lincoln of Middleboro, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday, September 24, from 2-4 pm with a prayer service at 3:30 pm.
