Cynthia E. (Bisnath) Ram, 89, of North Andover passed away at the Prescott House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Andover. She was the wife of the late Kissoon Ram.

Born in Tunpuna, Trinidad, West Indies on October 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Dora Bisnath.

Cynthia attended St. Mary's Mucurapo Girls Roman Catholic School in St. James, Trinidad, WI. She did not complete primary/elementary school. She helped take care of her younger siblings. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, cooking, reading, going to Mass, vacationing and visiting family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Lloyd Ram, Indra Chauharjasingh, Anita S. Gopie, Anthony S. Ram and Marcia A. Lane; her grandchildren, Cheryl N. Ram-Mistry, Andrea M. Gopie, Laura F. Gopie-Driggs, Jason L. Ram, Gerard N. Gopie, Desiere Sinkler, Zachary T. Lane, Dayna R. Ram and Elizabeth M. Lane; her great grandchildren, Marissa Mistry, Anand Mistry, Marquel Sinkler, Serena Ram, Sahil Ram, Ariella Driggs and Marley Rae Sinkler.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Wednesday, December 27th at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E. Main St., Brockton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 26th from 5:00-7:00 PM.
