Dalisa Rose Gonsalves, 25, passed away peacefully on August 15th, 2022, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dalisa was born on September 24, 1996, to Melissa Jean Gonsalves and predeceased father Bernard Baruch Baker Jr. Second oldest of 6 children; her siblings include Dashaun Howard, Donte Gonsalves, Jayden Rodriguez, Jaylynn Rodriguez, and Jacoby Rodriguez. Dalisa is survived by her only child Avaya Reign Marrero. Dalisa grew up in Carver, a small town in Massachusetts. She attended Carver schools for most of her childhood; until she later moved to Marshfield where she then graduated. Dalisa was known for her various talents and from a young age, you would often find her singing, drawing, or making up dances. When she wasn't doing one of these activities a good book always kept her attention. In school, Dalisa was a straight A student who also held a great social life. From playing softball, singing in chorus, and acting in school plays, Dalisa could do it all. Her ambition and strive for life were contagious. Dalisa carried many of these traits and skills into adulthood, and gratefully so. Because her ideals and virtues were so strong, when Dalisa chose to expand her family, she passed them on to her daughter Avaya. Now, there is a piece of her that will continue to walk this earth. Dalisa Rose Gonsalves will truly be missed, but our memories of her will never fade. Family and friends are invited to attend services at Russell & Pica Funeral Home Saturday, August 27th, located at 441 S. Main St. (Rt.28), West Bridgewater, MA 02379. The wake will be from 11:00AM-3:00PM. A Funeral Discourse will be given at 2:00PM. Cremation to follow the funeral services.
