Daniel F. Cronin, 93, of West Bridgewater, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Arbors in Taunton. He was the husband of the late Helen (Gorman) Cronin for 67 years, she passed away in 2020.

Born on May 14, 1931 in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Daniel Cronin and Beatrice (O'Connor) Cronin. Raised in Lawrence and Jamaica Plain, he graduated from English High School in 1949. He then served in the United States Navy from 1949-1955.

Dan was a retired MBTA Operator after working for 27 years.

Dan had also worked as a Bus Driver for Southeastern Regional Vocational High School and worked as a professional funeral assistant at the Conley Funeral Home in Brockton.

He is survived by his five children, Karen Willis and her husband Steven, Christine Courtney and her husband Jack, Daniel F. Cronin, III. and his wife Debra, Catherine Asack and her husband Gary and Helen "Gidget" Cronin; he is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 12great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jeremiah Cronin.

A private Memorial Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul in St. Ann Church, West Bridgewater with Interment in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
