Daniel Joseph Desmond, Sr., 74, of Buzzards Bay, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home under the care of his family and hospice. He was the husband of the late Ruth Anne (Swanson) Desmond.
Born in Brockton on February 14, 1946, he was the son of the late William H. Desmond and Pauline T. (Sarcericz) Desmond.
Daniel was a firefighter for the Brockton Fire Department before retiring.
Daniel was a big Boston sports fan. He also loved visiting St. Augustine, FL and Disney World with Ruth and the kids. He loved catching up with his firefighter friends and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Daniel is survived by his children Tammy Morrissey and her late husband Robert Morrissey, Jr., Ami Desmond, and Daniel Desmond, Jr.; his grandchildren Cameron Morrissey and Rebecca Dadak; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joan Desmond, Carol Froio, William Desmond and Diane Perry.

All visitors may pause at Casket/Urn and then EXIT the Funeral Home.
All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter.
All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
