Lynch of Brockton July 26, 2005, Daniel Edward “Eddie” Lynch, 85 years. Beloved uncle of Roseann M. Gangell and her husband Ronald of E. Bridgewater, Maureen M. Call and her husband Keith of Brockton, Mary E. Haigis of Marblehead, Linda R. Organ of Berkley and the late Richard T. Organ. Great uncle of John Gangell of Plymouth, Jennifer Battaglia of Woburn, Jessica Duggan of Mansfield, Douglas Organ of Attleboro, Jilleen Solomon of Berkley and Ashley, Caitlyn and Alex Haigis all of Marblehead. Also survived by 4 great grand nieces and nephews, and his dog Krissy. Brother of the late Mary T. Organ and John T. Lynch.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman Church) at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Eddie may be made to Cardinal Spellman High School Scholarship Fund, 738 Court St.,Brockton, MA 02302.
Obituary
Mr. Lynch died Tuesday at his home after a brief illness. He had been a lifelong resident of Brockton and was still living in his home on the East Side where he was born. He was the son of the late Timothy J. and Margaret (Casey) Lynch. He attended Brockton schools and graduated from Brockton High School. After High School he had been employed at the Quincy Shipyard and for more than 40 years he managed the High Street Garage and retired from Bourne Car Rental. For many years after his retirement he was a volunteer at Cardinal Spellman High School’s cafeteria. He was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed time with his family and summers spent at the Cape in Sandwich. He was a long time communicant and volunteer at St. Colman Church.
He is survived by his nieces, Roseann M. Gangell and her husband Ronald of E. Bridgewater, Maureen M. Call and her husband Keith of Brockton, Mary E. Haigis of Marblehead and Linda R. Organ of Berkley. His great nieces and nephews, John Gangell of Plymouth, Jennifer Battaglia of Woburn, Jessica Duggan of Mansfield, Douglas Organ of Attleboro, Jilleen Solomon of Berkley and Ashley, Caitlyn and Alex Haigis all of Marblehead, 4 great grand nieces and nephews and his dog Krissy.
He was the brother of the late Mary T. Organ and John T. Lynch and uncle of the late Richard T. Organ
