Daniel P. Gendreau, 59, of Lakeville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 7, 2023.  He was the husband of Cathleen Gendreau.

Born in Fall River on March 27, 1964, he was the son of late Armand "Jimmy" R. Gendreau and Elizabeth A. (Flynn) Gendreau.

In addition to his wife Cathleen, Daniel is survived by his children Kelsey Kerrigan, Laura Gendreau, and Elizabeth Gendreau; his siblings Christopher Gendreau and his wife Kerry of Sandwich, and Nancy Gendreau of Somerset; his nieces and nephews Andrea Moore and her husband Brian, Katie Alves and her husband Jeff, Brianne Smith, Erin Gendreau, Kyle Gendreau, and Lauren Smith; and his in laws late William P. Smith III, Karen Geary, Brian Smith and his wife Sharon, and Colleen Kalemkeridis and her husband John.

Daniel was vice president of golf ball manufacturing at Titleist, recently celebrating his 35th year with the company. Daniel led by example, dedicated to mission vision values and inclusivity throughout the company. Outside of his career, his biggest passion in life was spending time with his family and friends. Daniel was an avid basketball player and runner, always cheering on the Friars, and participating in multiple marathons and local races. After attending Stonehill College, he transferred to Notre Dame where he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Later in life Daniel loved reading, traveling to North Conway NH and spending time with his great nieces, Mallory, Madelyn and Lainey. His kindness, infectious laugh and ambition for quality family time will be greatly missed.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville on Thursday, December 14th from 4:00-8:00PM. A private funeral mass will be held in St. Martha & Mary Church: St. Isadore Parish for family and close friends.  Interment will be private.
