Daniel J. Hallisey Daniel J. Hallisey , 83, of Wareham, formerly of Brockton, died at home after a long illness on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009. He served in the U.S. Navy SeaBees in the South Pacific during World War II and worked for Eastern Edison from 1948 until his retirement in 1989. An avid golfer, he and his wife of 59 years, the late Phyllis Goddard Hallisey, split their time between Lake Worth, FL and Wareham, MA. He was the father of Kevin J. Hallisey of Brockton , Stephen J. Hallisey of Plymouth, and the late William P. Hallisey; grandfather of Nathan S. Hallisey and Jared W. Hallisey. One of seven children, he is survived by his sisters Margaret Handy of East Bridgewater and Marie Shields of Brockton. Funeral Information Calling hours will be at the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.(RT123) Brockton on Wednesday, February 18th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
