Daniel "Danny" Richard Hancock, 31, of Brockton lost his battle with addiction on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
Born on December 29, 1989, he was the beloved son of Theodore A. and Nancy J. (Goodell) Hancock. He graduated from Brockton High School in the class of 2008 and attended UMass and Massasoit Community College. He was a supervisor at Home Depot.
Danny was a unique individual to say the least. Funny would be an understatement, as going through his Facebook tributes the number of friends thanking him for making them laugh was a common theme. He may have missed his calling as a comedian but did use this uncanny ability to his benefit towards his love for girls. He will be missed tremendously by all that knew and loved him. Sometimes life isn't fair.
Danny is survived by his parents Theodore and Nancy Hancock; his siblings Paul G. Hancock and his wife Jessica and Theodore A. Hancock, Jr.; his grandmother Carol Hancock; nana Clare Goodell; niece and nephews Andrew Hancock, Kayden Hancock and Alana Hancock; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also the grandson of the late Martin Hancock and Richard Goodell.
