Obituary

Daniel J. Leonard, age 77, of Brockton, died February 12, 2018 at the Guardian Center. Dan was the husband of the late Evelyn M. (Annis) Leonard. He was born in Waltham, son of the late William and Mary E. (Galvin) Leonard. Dan was raised and educated on the North Shore and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 40 years. He was a Vietnam Army veteran, and for over 30 years was employed as a Union Pipefitter. He enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening and watching the Red Sox and Celtics teams. Dan had been a member of the Elks and was actively involved at the Olivet Memorial Church.

Dan is survived by his sons, Timothy J. Leonard of Hanahan, SC and Daniel R. Leonard and his wife Susan of West Bridgewater; three grandchildren Matthew, Sean and Emily Leonard and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of William, Thomas, Richard, Barbara and Paul Leonard and Patricia Coughlin.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, February 15, from 5-6pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 6pm.
