Obituary

Daniel “Pampa” Sweeting , 93 of Brockton died peacefully surrounded by his family, December 27, 2012. He was born in Key West Florida to the late Thomas and Coralie (Gibson) Sweeting and moved to Brockton many years ago. He worked for many years throughout the area as a self-employed Drywall Finisher and talented Carpenter. Daniel was the former husband of the late Jannie Mae Gibbs and Elizabeth Braizner; the brother of the late Nathaniel and Thomas Sweeting and grandfather to the late Derrek Sweeting
He is survived by his children; Grace Sweeting of Cape Cod, Shirley and her husband Jake Magee, Margaret and her husband Richard Shanks, Daniel and his wife Louise Sweeting all of Brockton and Kathy Sweeting Lugo and her husband Joseph of Connecticut; his siblings, Cora Dorsett, Vivarene Brown, Alice Adams, Alphonse Sweeting and Barbara Maxwell; his companion of many years Wanda (Shanks); and his 18 grand, 22 great grand and 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime faithful friends Duane Baker and Gary Royster.
