Obituary

Danny L. May, Jr., age 45, of Brockton, passed unexpectedly on November 30, 2023 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the son of the late Danny L. May, Sr., and Carol (McColgan) May and grandson of the late Carroll May, James McColgan and Carol McColgan.

Born and raised in Brockton, Danny attended Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School and had been employed at various local restaurants. He later moved to Missouri where he married Sara Lauritzen; they had two sons Danny III and Gabriel.

Danny was bright, personable and well-liked by his many friends. He was often described as having a heart of gold. He enjoyed video games and sporting events as well as coins and sports cards.

Danny is survived by his grandmother Barbara May of Brockton, his son Danny L. May, III of Missouri, his sister Tracy Vieira and her husband Andrew of Taunton, as well as his nephew Aidan and niece Addyson Vieira of Taunton. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held in Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday December 15, from 4-7pm. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday in the funeral home at 10am.
