Obituary

David R. Beals, age 61, of Holbrook, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly May 10, 2017 at Brockton Hospital. David was the loving husband of Carol Gianunzio. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, son of the late Richard and Emily (Madan) Beals. For over 40 years, David was a carpenter, and at the time of his death, was the owner of A-Z Carpentry in Holbrook. Sober for 20 years, David was a caring mentor for others.

David is also survived by a son Matthew Beals and his fiancé Marie McCormack. He was the stepfather of Angela Gianunzio, Gina Adorno and David Gianunzio; grandfather of Madisyn, Mackenzie and Matthew Beals, Jr.; brother of John, Jim, and Ann Beals and Kathy Harvey.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday 9:30-10:30am followed by a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Please consider a memorial donation in David’s name to assist the family with funeral expenses.
