David Owen Bentley, Sr., 84, of West Bridgewater passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home under the care of hospice and his family. He was the husband of Sherryl W. (Andresen) Bentley.

Born on September 26, 1938 in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Ralph Bentley and Mildred (Giberti) Bentley.

David was a self employed mason contractor.

David enjoyed restoring antique cars and was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the South Shore Antique Auto Club and the NSRA. He attended many shows and events.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, Sherryl, David is survived by his son David O. Bentley, Jr.; his grandson Richard Bentley; and his siblings Harold, Gerald, Gary, and Sylvia. He was also the brother of the late Danny, Raymond, Rita, Pauline, Margarite and Flora.

A graveside service will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater on Friday, October 14th at 12:00 PM.
