Obituary

David D. Covell, age 58, of Brockton, died peacefully, June 26, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. David was born in Brockton, son of the late Donald and Madeline (Cantalupo) Covell. He was raised in Middleboro, and was a graduate of Middleboro High School. David worked at the Paul A. Dever School in Taunton and for the past 30 years had been employed as a Dialysis Technician at the Brockton Dialysis Center. He loved live music, and would travel across the country for concerts. Known for his quote of “Hugs”, David was always taking care of others and loved to see them happy. He also loved to cook and was an avid Bruins and Patriots fan.
David was the brother of Bruce and his wife Sandy of Middleboro, Mark of Wareham, Shawn of Lakeville, Lisa of Taunton and the late Rick Covell. He is also survived by his longtime companion Lisa Lundin of Brockton and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
