Online Obituaries David D Creedon,78, of Brant Rock and St. Petersburg, FL passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Florida. David was a veteran of four years service in the U.S. Navy during which he served as an aerial photographer in several posts including two years in Guantanamo, Cuba. Following his naval service he commenced his telephone career with various Bell companies until retiring from Verizon after nearly 30 years employment. He was a devoted member of the Elks. In addition to being a charter member and officer of Marshfield Elks Lodge #2949 he served in numerous offices on the state level and was a regular delegate to the Elks national convention. David leaves two surviving sisters, Margaret Cahill her husband, John of Scituate and Jane Creedon of Brant Rock. He was predeceased by sister, Mary and brothers, John and Edward. Uncle D was the beloved uncle of many nephews and nieces and their children in the surrounding area and on the West Coast. Funeral Information Following cremation, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 8th at 11:00AM at St. Anne's Church, 591 Ocean St., Marshfield. Internment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marshfield Lodge of Elks Scholarship Fund, PO Box#1018, Marshfield, MA 02050.
