Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8:30 am. Funeral Service in St. Colman Church, Brockton at 9:30 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in David’s memory may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Dr.,Braintree, MA 02184.
Obituary
Mr. Daylor died Sunday evening at this home after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, a son of the late David and Mary “Mollie” (Fitzgibbon) Daylor. For the past year and a half he’s been a resident of Whitman, previously living many years in Carver. Raised and educated in Brockton, graduate of Brockton High School. Before his retirement he had been an equipment installer of Verizon, formerly Bell Atlantic. During the Vietnam Conflict he served in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Carol A. (Goggin) Daylor, 2 sons David J. and Shawn Daylor both of Carver, a stepdaughter Karen A. Murray of Pembroke, a granddaughter Brooke Daylor, 3 sisters Catherine Granger of PA; Patricia Finnegan of FL; Joanne Sprague of Osterville and several nieces and nephews.
