David E. Isler David E. Isler , 53, of Brockton, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Joanne M. (Furr) Isler. Born November 21, 1955, in Boston, he was the son of Irene (Baker) Isler and the late Jacob Isler. David served in the United States Army and worked as a sandblaster. He is survived by his wife, Joanne M. (Furr) Isler of Brockton; his children, Nakima Isler of Florida and Chanelle White of Boston; his mother, Irene (Baker) Isler of North Carolina; his sister, Lauretine Roberts of North Carolina; He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held at Lighthouse of Faith in Christ Jesus (housed in Central United Methodist Church), 65 West Elm St., Brockton on Wednesday, March 25th at 7:00PM. Pastor Dayan Johnson will officiate.
