Online Obituaries David R. Kruger, 52, of Newton, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Lilly Marcelin. Born March 27, 1962 in Brockton, MA he was a son of Yolanda (Iacovo) Kruger and the late Richard C. Kruger. David was a graduate of Brockton High School and also Northeastern University where he received his Bachelors Degree. David worked for Ropes & Gray LLP, Boston for 27 years as a financial analyst. He later worked as a controller for Foley Hoag LLP, Boston and then went on to work as a consultant for other various law firms. He was an avid fan of the horse races. David enjoyed gardening, fishing, and liked vacationing in Falmouth, Marthas Vineyard and Kennebunkport, ME. He was an excellent cook and loved his laptop computer. Most of all he loved his family and his dog Maya. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Lilly Marcelin; his step-children, Martina Green and Alain Vilaire; his siblings, Denise Caledonia and her husband Domenic, Debra Cowan and her husband John; his aunts and uncles, Irene (Iacovo) Litchfield, P. Lena (Iacovo) Allaire, Elena Iacovo, V. James Iacovo; his nieces and nephews, Nina Eduardo, Christopher Caledonia, Danielle Morrissey, Michael Morrissey and Kristin Morrissey; his great-niece and great- nephew and many cousins and friends. He is also survived by many close family friends. He was also the nephew of the late Sam Iacovo. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13th at 9:00AM thence to Christ The King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM.
