Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11:30 am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Visitation Monday 10:30 to 11:30 am.

Mr. Lawson died Thursday at Spaulding Rehabilitation Centerin Boston after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton son of thelate Hilding and Dorothy (Bowles) Lawson Lived in Brockton most of his life, graduate of Brockton High School. He also received a BA degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Retired as a careerOfficer in the US Air Force after 21 years. During Vietnam conflict he flew air reconnaissance. He also was employed by Chapman Manufacturing in Avon. Member of DAV and VFWHe also enjoyed bowlingSurvived by his wife Jean M. (Cunningham) Lawson Father of Donna Lawson of Cape Cod, David Lawson of Rockland, Robert Lawson of Cape Cod, Kristen Lawson of Cape Cod and Barbara Lawson of Cape Cod. 2 grandchildren 2 brothers Kenneth Lawson of Winter Springs, FL. and James Carr of Grand Praire, TX.
