Obituary

David M. McGinnis, 37 years, of Clifton Park, NY, formerly of Brockton, died February 22, 2008. Born and raised in Brockton, son of Lois J. (Barnes) Williams of Florida and James J. McGinnis of Massachusetts. Stepson of Thomas B. Williams, Ruth Anne (Ryder) Unick and Nancy (Pena) McGinnis.

David was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and played in the school band. After high school, he was certified as a welder by Job Corps. Recently he was employed as a carpenter in Southeastern Massachusetts and New York.

David is also survived by two sisters Karen Steele and Cindy Celia, two brothers Kevin and Scott McGinnis all of Massachusetts, two stepsisters Wendy Williams and Kristin (Ficks) Cahill, two stepbrothers Andrew and Thomas B. Williams, Jr., Ruth Ann’s children Theresa Cordaro, Pauline Bolieiro, Jay and John Unick and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved cat, Buddy.

Memorial Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visiting Hours Wednesday 6-8pm and Thursday 10-11am. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 Farm Road, Ballston, Spa, NY 12020.
