Nichols, 74, of Whitman, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his home under the care of hospice. Born on January 22, 1947 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Roger H. Nichols and Sarah S. Martin. David enjoyed golf, music, motorcycles and astronomy. He is survived by his children George Barclay, Melissa Barclay, Michel Rivella and Justin Nichols; and his grandchildren Dustin Barclay, Mykala Rivella, Nora Barclay and Amelia Barclay. He was also the brother of the late Meredith and Stephen Nichols. A funeral service will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, March 31st at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Calling hours in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 30th from 4:00-8:00 PM. ************************* COVID-19 Funeral Home Capacity Restrictions******************** Russell & Pica Funeral Homes Guidelines when attending a funeral wake/service. All visitors will then follow SAFE DISTANCING MARKINGS that will guide to the Casket/Urn. All visitors may pause at Casket/Urn and then EXIT the Funeral Home. All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter. All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
