Riordan, of Brockton, June 30, 2004, David I. Riordan, 89 years. Son of the late John J. and Johanna (Dineen) Riordan. Brother of the late Francis Riordan, J. George Reardon, Walter J. Reardon and Evelyn G. Wall.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8pm.

Obituary

David Ignatius Riordan, died Wednesday at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, after a brief illness. He was born November 3, 1914 in Brockton and had been a lifelong resident of Brockton. He was an alumnus of St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Brockton High School, New England College of Pharmacy and Northeastern University.

He was a registered pharmacist and owned and operated, with his brother George, the Reardon Drug Company in Brockton for over fifty years, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed boating and fishing.

He was the son of the late John J. and Johanna (Dineen) Riordan and brother of the late Francis Riordan, J. George Reardon, Walter J. Reardon and Evelyn G. Wall.

He is survived by five nieces and two nephews John Reardon of Attleboro, Mary Grimes of Attleboro, Janet O’Neil of Boston, Joyce Costa of Taunton, Joanne Spillane of Holbrook, Evelyn Wall of Norwood and James J. Wall of Foxboro.
