IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David
Talbot
January 1, 1919 – July 4, 2025
David Talbot, 80, lifelong resident of Easton passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and loved ones on July 4, 2025.
David was husband to the late Judy Talbot for 27 years. Together they were the devoted parents to Troy Talbot, Aaron Talbot and his life partner Nicole Donovan, Chris Talbot, Scott Talbot and his wife Chinami Talbot.
"Buddy" as known to by most of his family, was the most amazing papa to his grandchildren Michael Covel, Crystyliah Covel, Kaylee Talbot, Emma Talbot, and Allie Talbot.
He was the brother to the late Wally and Lois Talbot of Easton, Martha Rainey of Dedham, Edward Talbot, Mary Christensen, Arlene O'Neill, and Judy Anderson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, Cheryl Alves and her husband Stephen, Gary Talbot and his wife Elizabeth, Janice Webber and her husband Kevin, Patty Christensen and her husband Bobby, and so many loving grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Papa loved being with his children and grandchildren. You could often find him on his John Deere tractor mowing the lawn with at least one of his granddaughters on his lap. He had a passion for gardening too and if you didn't see him on his tractor, you would usually find him in the backyard, planting cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, and pumpkins for his pumpkin Kaylee, although he would always say the corn was not so good this year and didn't make it. David loved going to the Fryeburg Fair with his brother and would usually always come home with a new packet of seeds to plant and little trinkets for his girls.
He loved nothing more than being a Papa. He always made time to go to many dance recitals, softball games, planting flowers or trees with Crystyliah, filling the birdfeeders with Kaylee, watching Emma and Allie on his iPad, or sitting in his chair in the front yard under a tree, waiting for his girls to get off the bus, and he always made sure he made time to FaceTime with his babies in Japan, Emma and Allie.
Papa, Buddy, Uncle Bud, Dad, you were loved by so many, and will always remain within our hearts, you will be greatly missed we love you. Sleep well and rest easy.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Friday, July 25th from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
