Obituary

Deborah M. “Debbie” Russell 61, of East Bridgewater formerly of Brockton, died Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Frederick and Doris (Prouty) Russell and was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School. For many years Debbie had been a resident of Riddell Road in East Bridgewater.
Debbie had been a certified nursing assistant at the Mass Hospital School in Canton and Cardinal Cushing Hospital in Brockton. She also held various clerical positions in the Brockton area. Debbie traveled extensively and enjoyed reading, playing cards and all animals especially her cat Gracie. She will be remembered as a quiet woman with a great sense of humor and was a devoted friend of Bill W for many years.
Debbie was the beloved sister of Mary Sheehan of E. Bridgewater; Catherine O’Connell of Worcester; Dori Lagerstedt of Marshfield and the late David F. Russell. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and her special friends Annette, Brenda and Gerry.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday January 3, 2011 at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery Brockton. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 pm.
