Debra Rose (Monteiro) Almeida Debra Rose (Monteiro) Almeida , 53, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the fianc of Louis Grimes of Brockton. Born October 8, 1956 in Brockton, she was the daughter of Doris (Miranda) LeMar and the late Joseph D. Monteiro. A lifelong Brockton resident she graduated from Brockton High School. Debra worked at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital as a secretary in the Transitional Care Unit for over 21 years. She enjoyed calling people at the crack of dawn to say hello, going to yard sales, listening to jazz music, watching old movies, reading, crafts and traveling. She is survived by her children, Gena Lynn Almeida Suber, Thomas Joseph Almeida and Jessica Tina Almeida; her grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Almeida, Jr., Iyana Rose Almeida, Alicia Marie Leveque, Nazaria Elizabeth Leveque, Amya Fairbairn, Reginald Howard and Noah Julio Almeida; her siblings, Donna (Monteiro) O'Connor, Michael Monteiro Shawna Monteiro, Kim Heard, Linda LeMar and the late Karen Silva; her fianc Louis Grimes; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday at 8:30AM followed by a funeral service in Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Friday 4:00-8:00PM.
