Denise Kelly, 70, of Middleborough, passed away on June 22, 2025, at the Dana-Farber Cancer

Institute in Boston after a courageous two-year battle with breast cancer. In her final days, she

was lovingly surrounded by family and friends.

Born and raised in South Boston, MA, Denise was the youngest of six children to William G.

Sidlauskas and Alice Dunskis. She was a devoted wife to the late Robert M. Kelly for 53 years, a

selfless and loving mother to Sean Kelly and Jill Olivier, and a cherished grandmother to

Madelyn and Marissa Olivier.

Denise's presence lit up every room. She loved her family and friends fiercely and

wholeheartedly, always putting others first with unwavering compassion and strength. Her sharp

wit and quick humor made her undeniably hilarious—someone whose laughter and joy will be

remembered by all who knew her. She enjoyed summers at the campground, quiet afternoons

reading, crossword puzzles, and spirited games of Scrabble.

Denise was a fighter. Throughout her illness, she carried herself with grace, perseverance, and

hope, inspiring those around her.

She is survived by her son, Sean Kelly, and son-in-law Brad Easton; daughter, Jill Olivier, and

son-in-law Joseph Olivier; brothers Rick, Bob, and Bill Sidlauskas; and granddaughters Madelyn

and Marissa. She will also be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Amy and Wendy Sidlauskas,

many nieces and nephews, and dear lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her beloved

husband, Robert, her brother John T. Sidlauskas, and her sister Mary Pupalaikas.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., West Bridgewater on Wednesday, July 2nd from 8:30AM-10:00AM thence to St. Ann's Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM.  Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30PM.
